Never quit, unless you can't win, but even then, don't tell anyone that you're quitting.

Syar inadvertently issued a challenge to me via twitter.  I'm working on it.  In the mean time...

Emphasis on inadvertently.

Fo real tho, ladies (and dudes), burning your forehead with a hair straightener sucks. I did it in September when I borrowed a friend's mini hair straightener for a trip to Brisbane, and it turned out to be able to heat up to the temperature of lava, so the bridge between my eyebrows was flaky and burnt and raw for weeks! FML, amirite?

i remember doing that with a curling iron to the back of the neck a LONG time ago. it sucks. and wasn't childbirth part of that twitter-conversation list?

i had to look up FML, syar. i am now officially old.

It's because of things like this that I just keep it curly.

I know nothing about hair straighteners, I don't use them, or curling irons, or hair dryers, but feel my hair sometime, it's super soft.

I burned my neck in a place that was visible even with my hair down.It hurt soooo bad. It looked like a hickey for a while (and yes my students asked - no boundaries these days), then it just looked gross, and then the area was discolored for MONTHS. But I still use curling irons. What can I say, I'm a girly-girl. Or a CURLY- girl. Hahahaha, my husband would appreciate that last pun.
