Be honest

Is there anything better than a good yarn sale?

The census: It's hard work!

I've been training to help out with the 2010 census for the past couple of days. Due to a mixup in paper work, we had to travel to another training location to retrieve some highly classified documents. Upon arrival, I saw what some groups are forced to endure. This is the view they were being forced to look at. Pray for them.

No more franks and beans.

My sister was a little worried about my diet, so while she and her husband are visiting, they took me out for dinner. There's some grammatical errors in here, but I'm to tiring too fix them.

What will I remember about today?

Probably the fact that I may very well witness two of my favorite teams lose a combined three times with an option for a fourth loss tomorrow still within the same 24 hour period. These are dark times people. I've been coping with orange wedges.

Training anyone?

This is the building I will be training in tomorrow.

Another first.

Today marks the first time in my life that the following food combination will enter my body. Your calendars must be getting pretty full.

Ol' Blue

If Oklahoma City gets to shoot 48 freethrows a game every time, I'm going to go through a number of strings.

Not happy.

As a life long Rams fan, I was very disappointed they decided to use their #1 overall pick on Sam. Nothing against Bradford, but there's a lot more wrong with the team than a #1 pick can fix. I was hoping they would trade down and pick up some proven NFL tallent and still get a decent pick. I mean, it was hard work losing all those games last year. I was hoping to get a little more. That's all.

They still exist.

You'd think people wouldn't get rid of things like this, but you'd be wrong.

I wish I could show all of this, but federal regulations prohibit it. Sorry.

The more I learn, the less I know. Or something like that.

I've been to this train station probably a hundred times and this is the first time I've seen this part of it.

Failure redefined.

Try as I might, I was not able to convince Cadiz to purchase this outfit. My sound arguments for its versatility (good for the gym, or a night of wild clubbing ) seem to fall on deaf ears. On the plus side, I think I found her next birthday gift. If I split it onto a top and bottom, I could have Christmas covered too. There needs to be a new level of genius for what I am.

Watch and learn

I've said it before and I'll say it again. MLB at bat is hands down my favorite app of all time. All other professional sports should take note. This is how it's done. This is a screencap of a live game in progress. I really don't know how I made it this far in life without an iPhone.

Economic problem

Maybe it's just me, but $2.99 for "How to deal" starring Mandy Moore on VHS seems a bit steep. Also, I'm not even sure I possess the technology necessary to view this cinematic masterpiece any more.

A little follow up to yesterday's post. It looks like someone was listening because check out today's numbers in the same location:

The good times can't last forever though, later on I lost my speedy 3G connection and was left with only Edge network speeds. As you can see, 3G really is exponentially faster:

It's a good thing I have little interest in anything other than the ability to send and receive one character an hour. Honestly, if you need to text someone something faster than one word a day, just send them a fax already!

Thanks AT&T

For all that extra 3G coverage you added to Chicago recently. It's awesome.
